Some of my friends and followers of Pinay Investor asked me why I’m not posting as many blogs as I used to do when I started with this website. I paused for a few seconds and I asked myself, “Bakit nga ba?”
When Ginger, General Manager of Manila Workshops and who was also one of my mentors in some of the mastermind sessions that I’ve attended, offered this opportunity to become an Event Director for Finance/Investment workshops late last year, I felt so excited about it that I didn’t even have second thoughts about accepting it. I officially became a part of Manila Workshops last month and I already handled two major workshops so far.
The very first workshop that I handled and organized was held last week and it was the first installment of Marvin Germo’s Stock Smarts Workshop Series. The second was a webinar or online seminar about Retirement Planning by Fitz Villafuerte, which happened earlier today. Both of these workshops went successfully and it was indeed a fulfilling feeling to have been a part of an event that has the goal of spreading financial literacy to more people and participants.
But what really made me busy lately?
The preparations and promotions of these workshops had taken much of my time during the past few days, maybe because everything was new to me and I was still kind of learning and adjusting to this new role of being an Event Organizer. Doing all these was challenging and exciting and I’m so happy I made it on my first two events with Manila Workshops.
